If Janet Can…So Can You

I am so proud of my cousin Janet!

She is an amazing woman on so many levels and in just 4 weeks on program, even to her amazement…

Lost 16 pounds – Way to Go Janet!

Let me share a little bit of her story with you. Like so many in our family Janet has battled her weight for as long as I can remember. She has been on just about every diet ever published and some we’ve never heard of. She kept trying and didn’t quit, give up, or throw in the preverbal towel — That would have been the easy way out.

Well a month ago… much to her skepticism she started on program. She warned me that her body just doesn’t allow her to lose weight any longer because of all the years of failed diets.  I asked her to trust in the science behind this and to keep an open mind. That’s exactly what she did but her month had a few bumps in the road…

Monday of last week – I got a call she was feeling so bad the nurses in the clinic she works in came to help her. She immediately call her doctors and got an appointment. Much to her and my surprise the solution was a good one. Her doctor took her off a medication and sent her on her way… Since coming off this drug Janet’s mind is clear and she can think better. Oh and her weight has been dropping even better now that she is off that medication!

Today when I spoke with her, Janet has a sparkle to her voice she didn’t have 4 weeks ago.  She feels good. Her cloths are getting lose and told me today she is going to have to go shopping pretty soon.

I love my Cousin Janet – I am so happy and proud of her.

My hope is more of my family will realize how easy this is and join us before a heart attack, cancer or diabetes gets the worst of them.

I met a young beautiful woman named Lana on Saturday who is 26 years old. She went on program 3 years ago. Lost her weight and has kept it off. Lana is a Trauma Room Nurse at our local hospital. Lana and I spoke at length… “As a trauma room nurse you only see the worst patients.  You don’t see them get well… you just get them where they can breathe for two hours on their own – and they get moved out of trauma to make room for someone else – and in a month or less they are back”.  How depressing is this?

Now as Paul Harvey use to say… Here’s the rest of the story: More than 65% of those in Lana’s trauma room are their because of obesity related issues!  They did it to themselves with years of fatty, high sugar, high carb diets.

If My Cousin Janet Can Do This Program…So Can You!

Dr. Wayne Scott Anderson says, You don’t know a heart attack is on the way, until you’re having one… and then it may be too late.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel and it’s not a train it’s a happy, healthy life waiting…
